According to sources, the BJP, TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena led by Pawan Kalyan have reached a consensus on a seat-sharing arrangement. It is anticipated that an official announcement will be made in the near future, as reported by India Today TV.
During discussions leading up to the Lok Sabha elections and Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, the three parties were engaging in talks.
The agreement was completed late at night on Friday.
Per the agreement, the Jana Sena and BJP are expected to receive approximately eight out of the 24 Lok Sabha seats.
According to sources, for the Andhra Pradesh assembly, the two parties are expected to receive 28 to 32 seats.
According to sources, the TDP is expected to secure the remaining assembly seats.
There are 25 Lok Sabha and 175 Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh.
In the meantime, Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, a senior leader of TDP, addressed the press in Vijayawada and stated that Chandrababu Naidu was in Delhi upon the invitation of BJP leaders.
According to him, the initial talks have concluded and the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena have reached a decision to run for the elections as a joint effort.
According to him, there will be a meeting between Chandrababu and BJP officials to discuss the allocation of seats for the upcoming elections. The decision on the distribution of seats will be announced at a later time.
During a statement on Friday, K Ravindra Kumar, a senior TDP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, announced that the BJP, Jana Sena, and their party have come to an agreement to collaborate for the upcoming elections. The details and arrangements for this partnership are currently being discussed.
According to news agency PTI, a day after TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu held talks with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP leader JP Nadda, Kumar stated that initial discussions were held for the purpose of forming an alliance for the Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections, which are held simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh.
The discussions at Shah’s residence on Thursday night lasted for over an hour and a half, with the participation of both Jana Sena president and actor, Pawan Kalyan.
